Chapkagull Garden — چەپکە گوڵ — takes its name from the Sorani for “a bunch of flowers.” Every arrangement we make is built by hand, from stems selected the morning they are sold.
What We Grow and Source
Our range changes with the season. Below is what we work with through the year.
Roses
Our most requested flower, in red, white, pink, cream and peach. Available as single stems, in dozens, or built into larger arrangements. Long-stem varieties are stocked for weddings and formal occasions.
Tulips
A spring flower and a particular passion of ours. We are developing a tulip-growing project in partnership with Dutch specialists, with the aim of bringing locally grown tulips to Kurdistan.
Lilies
Oriental and Asiatic lilies, in white, pink and orange. Strongly scented and long-lasting, they suit both celebration and sympathy arrangements.
Hydrangeas
Full, rounded heads in blue, white, pink and green. A single stem fills a vase; several together make a generous, soft arrangement.
Peonies
Available in their short season in late spring. Sought after for weddings and worth ordering ahead, as supply is limited.
Orchids
Phalaenopsis and cymbidium, as cut stems or as living potted plants. A lasting gift for an office, a new home, or a formal occasion.
Gerbera, Eustoma and Sunflowers
Bright, cheerful flowers for birthdays, new babies, and get-well arrangements. Gerbera come in a wide colour range; sunflowers are at their best in late summer.
Seasonal and Foliage
Chrysanthemum, carnation, alstroemeria, gypsophila, eucalyptus, ruscus and seasonal greenery, used both on their own and as supporting material.
How We Arrange Them
Hand-Tied Bouquets
Our standard bouquet, wrapped and tied by hand, ready to be given as it is or placed straight into a vase.
Boxed Arrangements
Flowers arranged in a lined box with a water source, so they need no vase and travel well. A good choice for delivery.
Vase and Table Arrangements
Built into a vessel and ready to place. Suitable for reception desks, dining tables and event centrepieces.
Custom and Event Work
Bridal bouquets, ceremony and venue flowers, corporate installations and large-scale arrangements. These are quoted individually — please contact us to discuss what you need.
Not Sure What to Choose?
Tell us the occasion, the colours you like, and your budget, and we will build something to suit. If a particular flower is out of season, we will say so and suggest the closest alternative rather than substituting without telling you.
